DEFORMTM-HT
DEFORM-HT is a stand-alone system for simulation heat treatment operations. By including the effects of temperature, deformation and microstructure, it is possible to accurately measure mechanical and metallurgical component responses. The system predicts residual stress, distortion, cracking, microstructure evolution and grain size. DEFORM-HT also allows for the study of stress relaxation and creep.
DEFORM-HT is specifically tailored for the heat treatment industry and can be applied to quenching, tempering, annealing, normalizing, carburizing, solution treating and aging. It provides an environment for the simulation of ferrous and non-ferrous alloys ranging from aluminum and carbon steels to titanium and nickel-base superalloys.
